BB12: Week 2 Discussion

I wish I could have seen that house meeting last night! The updates on Jokers made it sound like it was pretty good, but maybe it wasn't all it was cracked up to be?

I definitely miss the old schedule. It's SO LONG between Sundays and Wednesdays!

Ok totally random, I just got a phone call from someone here at work who wanted to ask me a question. They have called me a zillion times and know full well that my name is Lorraine. When I answered the phone he said "Hi Janelle" and we both started laughing and he said I dont even know a Janelle and have no idea where that came from. Then when I answered the question he said "Thanks Janelle" and we cracked up again. Its that BB vibe...lol.

Suzie, I think maybe people were excited about the fact it was the first real confrontation of the season and it possibly could have turned into something of a big crazy blow out like we've seen before with house confrontations. Remember what an idiot Amber looked like when she called a house meeting to go off on Eric for telling people she was a tweeker when she herself was telling people about her drug past. Matt handled himself well and came out looking better than those who were accusing him of playing both sides. Matt's playing the game and whether or not they like how he's playing is regardless. To me the house meeting was just a joke much like the one who called the meeting. Compared to arguements and fights in BB past this barely rates it will be forgetten.

I think as a whole since a lot of these house guests are more level headed and some reserved for the most part, which is probably why we haven't seen a lot of fights certainly not like some fights where they were going for the jugular on a reg basis, season 9 comes to mind.

HOH Week 3- Endurance Comp? **SPOILER**

The live feeds showed a brief view of the backyard. It looks like this HOH will be endurance, not to mention that the HGs have been on lock down since yesterday afternoon.

I'm with you TJ, I don't like this line up neither. I liked Sunday, Tuesday & Thursdays.

I agree with you and TJ, Smooches. The Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday lineup would be much better. Although, they always had the Tuesday show at 9pm EST, I still find this new schedule so weird. It also doesn't help the fact that when they air the show on Wednesday, the majority of the show is stuff that happened on Friday and Saturday (Veto Competition), thus it already seems like a long time ago. By the way, I have heard you on a few BBAD radio shows, and I think you are so funny. Thanks for the laughs!

Isn't it unusual for there to be an endurance comp this early in the season (seasons with the first HoH as endurance notwithstanding)?

It was also interesting that before the lockdown I remember Hayden even predicting/guessing that it would be endurance even though he's never seen any season except BB11 in sequester. Of course speculation that it's endurance is rampant now that lockdown has lasted so long and why would they go to so much trouble for a comp setup unless it was something major.

Not that I'm complaining, I love endurance comps. It's one of the best parts of the live feeds (when they aren't blocking it for no real reason and you miss people drop out). To me, they've always been some of the most memorable moments over the years whether it's the Pressure Cooker in BB6 (my fave comp ever probably) or the Disco Balls in BB9 when Natalie just spewed vomit everywhere the second it ended.

You're right. But I can't imagine an almost two day lockdown for a "roll the ball" competition or T/F questions. They usually allow the HGs to practice their techniques on a ball competition, usually of a smaller scale size with less obstacles than the real competition. We shall see. Looking forward to tonight's radio show with you and Lorraine. Can't wait to hear what BB11's Kevin thinks about this season so far.
