| We had the opportunity to interview Brendon before he is reunited with the love of his life Rachel in the jury house. B.B.A.D Radio: Brendon, you made a great run for the money! Were you surprised at getting voted out over Britney and why do you feel other guys voted you out? Brendon: I feel as if they felt more threatened by me. I was both a physical and mental player. I pose more of a threat to them than Britney did. In a sick and twisted Big Brother way, I suppose it's a compliment.
B.B.A.D Radio: Were you thinking you'd at least get Enzo's vote? if not why... Brendon: I thought that I would at least get Enzo's vote because we were friends or I thought we were friends. When he didn't vote for me, it wasn't a surprise, it just sucked.
B.B.A.D Radio: Who of the remaining houseguests would you like to evicted next? Brendon: I think I would like to evict Britney or Hayden. Britney because she is very manipulative and Hayden for backstabbing me when I fought to keep him in the house last week.
B.B.A.D Radio: Who would you like to at the final 2 since your game is now over? Brendon: I would like it to be Lane and Enzo.
B.B.A.D Radio: If you had to name one misstep that may have cost you the game, what would it be? Brendon: Putting Matt up and trying to back door him over Britney.
B.B.A.D Radio: Did you ever think about aligning with someone like Britney or Ragan, even Matt for that matter in order to throw everyone off since nobody would have suspected that? Brendon: I had considered aligning myself with Matt and Ragan before I put Ragan up but I knew that Rachel wanted Matt, Britney or Ragan out so I decided to put Ragan and Lane up against each other. I felt that aligning myself with any of those three would have been a very dangerous situation.
B.B.A.D Radio: Once Rachel was voted out, you were a definite force to be wreckoned with in the house. What are your thoughts on that? Brendon: I was glad that everything happened the way it did because I know that Rachel wouldn't have done as well in the rope course and she would have been out that week. I at least made it a little further and did a little more damage.
B.B.A.D Radio: What future if any do you plan to have with Rachel? Brendon: I hope that eventually she will move to LA and pursue her higher education out here with me at UCLA. I would like a future with her. I see us working well with each other and exploring the world.
B.B.A.D Radio: How soon will you be introducing your parents to Rachel? Brendon: As soon as the dust settles and all the excitement dies down.
B.B.A.D Radio: What was your favorite and least favorite (excluding being evicted) part about being on the show? Brendon: Favorite - meeting Rachel Least - having to interact with people who were completely fake all the time
B.B.A.D Radio: If you were not evicted and won the next HoH who would you have put up on the block? Who was your target? Brendon: Ragan and Britney
B.B.A.D Radio: Did the pretzel message that Rachel left hold much weight in you putting Matt up on the block or were you going to put him up anyway? Brendon: I was going to put up Britney. The pretzel message did push me to put up Matt. I wanted to do what Rachel wanted. Either one of those people would have made me happy if they left so I went with what Rachel wanted.
B.B.A.D Radio: Do you think you're this season's Jeff and Jordan and are America's sweethearts? Matt: I don't know if you can compare Rachel and I to Jeff and Jordan. Our romance was much more intense and I think both of us were a force to be reckoned with inside the house. It wasn't one person carrying the other. It would be nice to be the updated version of America's sweethearts.
B.B.A.D Radio: Which houseguest was the most difficult to live with? Brendon: Britney
B.B.A.D Radio: Do you have any regrets in how you played the game? Brendon: No
B.B.A.D Radio: Several times in the game you said you were doing this for Rachel as if you were avenging her eviction. Do you think you lost sight of your own game? Please explain... Brendon: No because my game was her and I together. It wasn't me alone.
B.B.A.D Radio: Did you see your alliance with Rachel helped or hindered your game? Brendon: Helped. I have no idea how far I would have gotten if I hadn't been with her. Plus, I feel in love. It only helped me.
B.B.A.D Radio: You let it be known before the very first eviction that you and Rachel were an alliance. From that moment it put a target on your back. How did you not see that as a mistake to let everyone know you 2 were in an open alliance? Brendon: It would have been a mistake to pretend that something wasn't happening when it was. I didn't want to hide it. It would have been a mistake to pretend that we weren't together.
B.B.A.D Radio: Did you suspect any other alliances if so who were they? Brendon: I now believe that Britney, Lane and Hayden are all working together. I still think there is a chance that Lane and Hayden could be the long time friends that we were never quite sure existed in the house.
B.B.A.D Radio: You often said you wanted people there in the house who were going to compete. With that being said do you believe there are people still in the house who don't deserve to be there because they aren't competing, if so who? Brendon: I think that Lane has not been competing and has been floating his way through the game. Up until the last HOH Hayden was floating as well. I do believe there are people that aren't competing.
B.B.A.D Radio: Going forward what will you be taking away from this experience? Brendon: A realization of how many things in my life are extremely important to me even at times when I don't believe it to be so. My family and friends are so essential; not being able to communicate with them was a huge struggle.
B.B.A.D Radio: Do you have any final comments you'd like to say to the viewers and your fans? Brendon: Thank you for the support. It is so much more difficult than it looks on TV. There is a lot of down time where we have nothing to do but think about the game. _ ___________________________________________________________________________ We respect the intellectual property rights of others, and require that the people who use or visit B.B.A.D Forum Web Site do the same. This season has seen a slew of manipulations by BB more obvious than ever. It's very disappointing, but I guess they think they have a winning formula that will continue with viewership being up, but it pisses me off regardless. I don't think it's as rigged as some want to believe, but it's not the innocent game it used to be. Totally different game not only in the context of BB12 if Britney would have been nominated, but totally different game overall. And a more intense relationship than J/J? Come on now. They're still together and they didn't have to have sex on camera in the BB house to cement their relationship. When this is over he'll eventually regret it (I would hope). Every outside observer can see it won't last and it basically cost him the game. If he had made alliances instead of a showmance and branched out in the game he might have been more successful, even if he was a threat in the game that would have been targeted. | |
