That is the rumors going around but for crying out loud...who cares??? Everyone knew he was going to be in there anyway. Worst kept secret in BB history.

that is what i heard in rumorville...but that was posted after the show and he said nothing important to warrent him leaving the house.

What has me concerned about the video is that it was released after the airing of Big Brother on the east coast but not the airing on the west coast. Could this have breeched the contract somehow on spoilers?

Umm...Erica and Lorrane since you are now big broadcasters over at the RTVzone can you use some of that big power to find out something for us...lol...just kidding..i dont want my girls to get booted b4 the premier for breach of anything.

Once again BG, you hit the nail on the head. Why not just say, uh Dick, don't do that anymore! End of story. In my opinion he did NOTHING to spoil the outcome of the show and if anything he gets them BIG ratings and viewers!! Of course this is all speculation.

If anyone knows anything at this point BG, they are keeping mum!

Wow...based on Evel Dick's tweets, that video posted on rtvzone.com may have been the actual reason for being removed from the game....it does make some sense since he was MIA on the day of the premiere and live feeds and the HGs kept saying he was gone for 4 to 6 hours when the live feeds/after dark premiered...which would have been around the time the video may have appeared on rtvzone.com. I don't know, but I see a lawsuit in the near future with this one....

I agree with Lorraine that with all the rumors before the show even aired, every big fan of BB pretty much knew that Evel Dick/Daniele, Brenchel, and Jeff/Jordan were the duos returning for the double trouble twist...CBS could have been more vague about the twist prior to the show and not have had that poll on the website causing major speculation as to who was returning back for the season.

The rumor was that EDs girlfriend was sick or something along those lines but there has to be more to these turn of events...looking forward to EDs statement.

If thats the reason Lloyd, Big Brother/Grodner owes us a HUGE apology.

But here is why I dont think thats the reason. BBAD came on at 1amEST/10pmPST. So at 1am on bbad, they were saying that Dick had been MIA for 6 hours which would take you to 7pmEST. At that time, the video had not even been posted and the debut of BB hadnt even aired yet on the east coast. So at time the HGs were saying Dick disappeared, even if their time was off by some, it was a good 3 hours until the video was made public.

I'm looking forward to his statement as well.

BAH!!!! I guess this is what I get for not looking at the boards or twitter yesterday!

Well, of course I hope that Dick is ok and that his family and friends are ok, but I'm really disappointed that he won't be on the show this season. I was really looking forward to seeing him play the game again!

According to my twitter feeds, all of the HGs were just sent into the backyard for some sort of special announcement. Hopefully they're being told why Dick left (it sounds like no one told Danielle?!) or he's being replaced with someone else.

All the what could have been's..... had Dick stayed....we'll never know I'm curious is anyone glad Dick is not on the season? I see a lot of fans feel the same as I do in wishing he never left but anyone here glad he's gone?

I think Dick is a vile boy(anyone who behaves like that isn't a man in my eyes) and he made season 8 almost unbearable for me, however I was interesed to see how he'd play. I'm not glad he's gone, but when I found I wasn't the least bit upset. It was just like "oh, Dick's gone? Hmmmm... I want a sandwich". This season will be just fine without him there to talk about his season nonstop.P

He specifically mentions the message will be shown AFTER the west coast showing of BB, could it really have been because his video announcing his return to the BB house was out BEFORE the west coast viewing of BB on debut night?? I keep going round and round with this....this had better not be the reason.

Hmmm...RTvZone.com website is currently down with EDs message that was supposed to be released after the west coast airing of BB? Wonder if the site crashed?

That video was pretty... Anticlimactic. He basically told us little more than CBS already has. Well, now I'd like to go back to forgetting he exsists. I enjoy life much more that way...

To stop the rumors, I wasn't evicted, jailed, hospitalized. No one
was in an accident, I don't even have a brother. This isn't PR meant to promote
my site, a win would have served that goal faster.

Daniele in the game. I'm not on the space shuttle. I'm not talking to Obama and
FU to all the rumor starters. They're clueless.

Dani and I have not, in
fact, spoken in three years except for one accidental and brief meeting. I've
left a couple voice mails that weren't returned.

I entered the house to win,
to be the first two-time winner of BB. Nothing less would do, not the jury, not
DOR, just to win. I started well and liked my position within the alliances.
People who know me, know that I would have never left the house if I could have
avoided it. I would never quit except for something important.

I got bad
news in the DR, someone came in and said it was an emergency and I had to leave
immediately. I thank them very much for making sure things are OK and being very
supportive. The news hit me sideways and hit me in the ass. I had no pre-idea
about the situation whatsoever.

Some things in life are more important
that a TV show. Sometimes people need you and you have to be there for them as
they are there for you. I won't say another word to respect her privacy. Mind
your business. Screw you if you don't like the explanation.

I'll be
starting my online show up again soon. I'll talk about the show, Daniele, but
not the reasons I left. I am rooting for Dani of course. I appreciate your
support so much. I once again apologize to and thank CBS and the producers for
giving me another time on the show.

Sorry producers for throwing you an
"expect the unexpected twist". I hope I can come back sometime, that's not up to
me. Sorry for everything to the fans. The majority of you were looking forward
to seeing me on the show. Sorry for disappointing you. No one is more
disappointed about leaving than I am, but I know I'll never regret this
decision. Peace out.

This whole turn of events definitely puts a different perspective on him being "evil". To sacrifice something that you have tremendous passion and a bit of an obsession for, for the sake of someone else's well being says a lot about someone's true character. I know there are quite a few BB fans out there that don't care for this person, but he has certainly gained some respect from me. I hope those that have this huge curiosity to know the full facts about his departure from the game (who was the person he left for) will just let him be. He looked a little choked up in the video and it was at times really uncomfortable for me to watch. I wish him the best.
On the bright side, nobody from a true fans perspective knows this seasons cast better than him. I am looking forward to his recaps and insight of the game this summer. I am still very excited about the merge with RTvZone.com.

When I saw Evil Dick-I thought thank God someone to enjoy watching & then Bam-he's long gone. I hope whatever it is was worth it or they bring him back,would rather watch him then those kids & there petty BS.
