| Let Me Say This!!! IF ANYONE HER EVEN CLAIMS NAT DESERVE TO WIN THEN TAKE A COCONUT AND SHOVE IT UP URE A$$!!! Russell is arguably in the top 5 best survivor players in the show's history. By Natalie Winning the jury basically said Natalie is one of the Top 5 players in Survivor's History and I know for sure thats not true.I am frustrated that these "recruited" players are on their moral high horse all the time. This is just as bad as Suzie almost winning Gabon. Well actually it is worse. Cuz Suzie actually won a challenge. | |

| 'Survivor: Samoa' finale recap: The worst jury vote everDid the right person win 'Survivor: Samoa'? Um, how should I put this? NO! A travesty. That's really the only word for it. Wait, here's another one: A joke. You could also go with absurd, ridiculous, lame. I'm going to make sure that I am absolutely clear about this: Natalie winning over Russell is the worst jury vote in the history of Survivor. That honor previously belonged to the All-Stars season, when a bunch of bitter Bettys couldn't handle being outsmarted by Boston Rob and awarded the million dollars to Amber instead. But this is worse. uhhhh.....Thank you I couldn't agree more on both facts! I absolutely hated Amber losing to Boston Rob even if they did wind up together he clearly deserved it over her just like Russell! You may not like Russell. You may consider him cocky, sneaky, and lots of other things. But he OWNED this game, and he owned the final Tribal Council as well. Natalie's opening speech to the jury contained NOT ONE SINGLE REFERENCE to anything she did well in the entire game, just that it was ''the hardest thing I've ever done.'' Hey, hand her the million then! Later, she talked about how her big strategy was to NOT be aggressive. That was her strategy!!! Don't do anything. Again, hand her the million! Look, Natalie seems like an absolute sweetheart. I have nothing against her whatsoever. I hope she enjoys the money and uses it well. The jury members are the people who should be ashamed. And don't give me any of this baloney about the social game. Todd in China blindsided and betrayed and went to the final Tribal Council owning every single move he did. You know how that jury responded? They respected it and handed him a million dollars. Not this time. There is no WAY any of those players can honestly think Natalie played a better game than Russell. They can say they liked her better and would rather give her the million dollars. But no way can they say that she played a better game, no matter what crazy Erik says. And let me make something clear: You may have been rooting for Natalie because you liked her better (And that's fine. I get that.) but if you are voting, and you take that job seriously, you have to put that aside and vote for the best player. Any way you slice it, Natalie was not the best player. Jeff Probst tried his best at the reunion to paint her as a worthy winner, starting off by prompting her to talk about her key move of helping get rid of Erik, and then going out of his way to jumpstart a conversation about how much better her social game was than Russell's, but even he seemed half-hearted in his attempts. Probst knows a dud winner when he sees one. He won't ever say it, but if you read between the lines, you can tell. Click here to read the rest of the article | |

| Eliza twittering about last nights finale of Survivor: "@ RNO_Updates ask Jaison and Brett about being such bitter jurors. I'm sure you already had a question planned about that though." "@ victorporoca I think they tried to give her the best edit possible to justify her winning, which proves she DID NOT deserve it." "When you're on a jury on a REALITY TV show. Grow up. Be an adult. Vote for the person who is most deserving, even if they outplayed YOU. " Amen!
"I agree wholeheartedly. RT @ EWDaltonRoss Bottom line: The #Survivor jury vote was a travesty. Worse even than Amber beating Boston Rob." "At least they got "Player of the Season" right. #Survivor " "Wow. SO bitter. That's pathetic. On both my seasons I voted for the BETTER player even though it was the person who voted me out. #Survivor " "The #Survivor reunion is devastating. The runner up (no spoilers) is in tears. It is so sad. " "Worst. Jury. Ever. #Survivor "

| "Survivor" Finale Treated to the Bum's RushBy Kevin Kawa To quote myself: “don’t get me wrong, [Russell] wants to just win… I wouldn’t be surprised to see Russell, post-win, burning the $1 million check in the same way that he has burned so many socks). So how did my prediction hold up, with the final 2-hour episode of “Survivor” airing, followed by the “Reunion Show?” Wait a minute. Before we even touch on that, let’s first discuss the “Survivor mantra” and how it relates to who should win, or who should not win: “Outwit. Outplay. Outlast.” Throughout “Survivor” history there has been some very deserving winners (Richard Hatch – “Survivor: Borneo;” Tom Westman – “Survivor: Palau;” and J.T. – “Survivor: Tocatins”) and some very undeserving winners (Tina Wesson – “Survivor: Australian Outback;” Danni Boatwright – “Survivor: Guatemala” and Parvati Shallow – “Survivor: Micronesia”), so where do I fall in the “playing the game” vs. “flying under the radar” argument? The mantra was an important point throughout the final Tribal Council and into the Reunion Show. One of the big knocks on “Survivor” over its history is that it penalizes people for actually being good at playing the game. If you are strong, win challenges and are a leader, you become a target. While there have only been a few physically and mentally competitive contestants who claimed the title of “Sole Survivor,” a fair share of Survivor winners flew under the radar during their respective seasons. So how did this shake out, with Jaison, and then final Galu member Brett already eliminated, Russell, Natalie and Mick were the final three, all getting to plead their cases to the jury. Losers who "won." “Outwit:” “Survivor” winners should be able to play the mental game, and for me, this means doing whatever they need to do to win. “Survivor” is a game basically without rules (though I guess tripping someone in a Challenge is against the rules), so I have no problem with players who do what is necessary to move up in the game. “Lying, cheating, and stealing” (which was a big point of contention for some of the jury members with Russell) should be applauded, not booed, simply because the game is without set rules. Being someone who has been booted out of fantasy sports leagues two straight years for “circumventing” rules (not breaking predefined ones though), I applaud someone who does what is necessary to win. To paraphrase what Erik said during Tribal Council, “it’s not whether you win or lose, but it’s how you play the game… is said by losers,” I find that this holds true. To make people do something that you want them to do to move you forward in the game is outwitting them. Unless you’re stupid. Which a lot of “Survivor” contestants are. So in the category of “Outwit,” Russell should have taken home all nine of the jury votes. Especially because he outwitted seven of the eight Galu members sitting on the jury by directly leading to them being voted off. If they were smarter, and weren’t outwitted on a day-to-day basis by Russell, they would’ve voted him off first after the merge. And "winners" who won. “Outplay:” This, to me, has always been about the physical part of “Survivor,” showing off your physical skills in the challenges. This cycle of “Survivor” was less than physical, at least in the game play, so this one is a little harder to judge. Though when it mattered, Russell beat Brett, head-to-head, in the final Immunity Challenge. Mick, who appeared to be one of the most physically strong competitors basically did nothing the whole cycle, while Natalie did show off some skills (and some pixilated nudity), helping her team, post-merge, win a few Reward Challenges. Of course, Russell outplayed everyone by finding three hidden Immunity Idols, which he then used to psychologically break down his competitors by wearing them to Tribal Council. So here, I would have to give a split of the vote, with a 5-4 advantage going to Russell over Natalie. I just noticed this now. Obviously this is the part of the show where Probst announced Russell as being the winner of player of the seasons and look right behind Russell, there are 2 lousy douchebags just sitting there and not clapping for Russell. Goes to show how deep rooted their bitterness truly is. “Outlast:” This is the most arbitrary part of the “Survivor” mantra. What does it mean to outlast all the other competitors? On the most basic level, all three competitors outlasted the rest just by making it to the end. But would Natalie have made it to the end without Russell? Even flying under the radar, probably not. Would Mick have made it without Russell? Doing absolutely nothing throughout the game, probably not. But could Russell have made it to the final three with two other competitors? Probably. He could’ve taken Shambo, or Jaison, or even Brett with him. Russell outlasted everyone simply because it didn’t matter who the other two would be with him at the final Tribal Council, he outplayed everyone. Russell did make the tactical mistake of keeping Natalie (obviously… as she won), but I believe that he was hoping the jury would look at his accomplishments in the game and say that he played the game, while the other two just rode his coattails to the final. Simply stated, without Russell, none of the original Foa Foa tribe members would have made it to the final three. So Russell should have won this category by taking home all of the jury’s nine votes. So why didn’t Russell win? I’m not sure if the jury didn’t want to validate their stupidity for keeping Russell around so long, or validate their stupidity because Russell outwitted, outplayed, and outlasted each and every one of them, but he only won two of the jury votes (with Natalie taking home the other seven). So is Natalie undeserving of the win? Incredibly so. Her big defense for making it to the final three while seemingly riding Russell’s coattails was that she chose to align with him. But Russell made an alliance with EVERYONE at the beginning of the game. Natalie just never betrayed him like almost everyone (excluding Jaison, to an extent) did, thus he kept her around for her vote. Simply stated, Russell is the greatest “Survivor” player ever, and is right up there with Boston Rob as the greatest player to not win the title of “Sole Survivor.” And going back to my original quote at the top of the page: Russell proved that he just wanted to win, looking stunned and visibly upset at the reading of the votes. He even offered Natalie $10000 (then $100000) if she would relinquish her title of “Sole Survivor” and give it to him. And then he pulled out a pair of socks to give to Jaison, only to throw them into the fire pit in front of the tribe members. This was a classic move, and proved me right in so many ways. Though he didn’t take home the prize, he was undeniably the best player in the game (both beloved and hated by the audience), and was still playing the game AFTER the final votes were read (I bet Jaison will always be haunted by images of Russell in his head). Really, none of these four have any right to be standing next to Russell on the "Survivor" stage. The most exciting news of the Reunion Show was the revealing of the next cycle of “Survivor.” With the 20th cycle of the show being the next one, I knew it had to be special and with the name “Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains,” I know it is going to be. Pitting two tribes of former competitors against one another, one tribe who played the game “right” and the other tribe who did “whatever necessary” to win, who would I like to see? For the heroes, I would like to see Colby – “Survivor: Australia” (though I hope he doesn’t win another car and sleep with his mother in it), J.T. – “Survivor: Tocatins” (just a really fun guy to watch who gave it his all), Stephanie (the greatest female ever to play the game), and Elizabeth – “Survivor: Australia” (ok, I know she’s not going to be on it, but she’s the hottest “nice” female ever to the play the game). Because I love the villain (and consider myself a villain… just watch when I run “The Amazing Race”), for this tribe I would love to see Coach – “Survivor: Tocantins” (probably the most idiotic player ever on the show), Jerri – “Survivor: Australia” (but only because she looks like my sister-in-law, but I wouldn’t mind seeing her suffer again on the show), Natalie – “Survivor: Fans vs. Favorites” (she was just so mean), Parvati – “Survivor: Micronesia” (simply the hottest player ever in the game), Boston Rob – “Survivor: Marquesas” (just so I could see him match wits with…) Russell – “Survivor: Samoa.” Whomever they pick, I’m sure it will be a great season and maybe help decide the central question of “Survivor:” do you win by being good or by being bad? This is a pretty good article and I can not wait to see Boston Rob and Russell Season 20 Villain domination! | |

| I'm not arguing about this anymore, lol. "the best survivor ever" would remember that in order to win Survivor you have to have people on the jury who WANT to vote for you..I don't care how you spin it or say well he got everyone voted out or found 649474 hidden immunity idols that doesn't mean jack shit if you make it all the way to the end and have NO ONE to vote for you (ask Amanda, she did it twice)..and a "bitter jury" well..Mick and Natalie voted out everyone one of those same people Russell did they just did in a manor that wasn't arrogant and cocky. He is a complete asshole and a sore loser. He's pathetic.

He didn't win. That's justification enough for me. :) Boston Rob is cute and whether Russell won or not doesn't mean he wasn't more than deserving of it. Usually the one who deserves to win do not because of a bitter ass jury. Most of the time it comes down to who is kissing ass the most or "nice"

He won something way more important than some votes from a stupid ass bitter jury (minus Shambo and John) He won the FAN VOTE and he won by a LANDSLIDE!! The masses have spoken. I think that speaks volumes over the losers from Galu who got OWNED by 1 guy. Russell will go down as one of the greatest Survivors EVER while the idiots from Galu will go down as the biggest losers (and worst jury vote) in Survivor history. 8-4 advantage and blew it...LMAO!!!!

| Okay, ya'll wanna talk about a "bitter" jury. How about the fact ya'lls precious James in Survivor: China got played by Todd and by Parvati in Micronesia yet didn't vote for EITHER of them in the final vote when they both CLEARLY outwitted, outplayed, and outlasted him. Damn, he must be a how did you put it Lorraine "stupid ass bitter jury" member.. Pot meet kettle.
first of all Colton, if I memorized every second of every episode of every season like you, I MIGHT remember that...but I dont. Secondly, if you feel that this was the result of a bitter jury and you were probably mad that your precious Barfati got hosed, then why are you defending this jury? You like PJ tend to confuse me sometimes. Sorry you dont like James, not sure why...guess he isnt pretty enough either.
