Woohoo can't wait for new blood!! Is it just me or is it starting later than usual??

* sigh * I'm debating on whether I want to hand over my life to the feeds this summer or just get the feeds and rely y'all for all the juicy feed updates...

I was just saying the same thing to a friend of mine that I remember in the beginning the seasons were longer and usually started earlier in July and ended later in Sept. Every season has been feeling shorter and shorter. I pulled some stats from wikipedia and its pretty clear that after season 6 the show got shortened quite a bit.

Season 2....July 5-Sept 20

Season 3....July 10-Sept 26

Season 5....July 6-Sept 21

Season 6....July 7-Sept 20

season 7....July 6-Sept 12

season 10...July 13-Sept 16

season 11....July 9-Sept 15

season 12....July 8-Sept 15

A house full of people that you have varying degrees of hate for is the worst!!!! BB12 and BB10 had all the good people gone by final 7, which is why I look back on those season with zero fondness!

I pretty much am disgusted with just about all of them by the time the season ends, and if that doesn't do it, usually after the season is over the over the top grandiose delusions pretty much solidify my hate for them lol

Yeah, its weird to say this but i am not as amped up as i usually am around this time.

I think that the last 2 seasons were kinda downers for me. Season 11 was hard to follow up. There were so many conflicts Ronnie, Russel, Chima,Michelle, Jeff, Jessie and Lydia...even kevin got into it with Ronnie ...remember the chest bump...lol. There was also so much scheming with nasty gnat and kevin. I would love to see another cast like season 11..it was daily drama and excitement.

I'm excited for the season, I think once it gets a little closer to the date and info starts leaking a bit then it will pick up. I agree with you bostongirl the last two season and esp season 12 was so boring!! Season 11 had so many crazies it made for a great season.

How's everyone been? It's hard to believe BB season is about to begin, a year goes so fast.

I'm starting to get pumped for the season, I'm doing my usual ritual of watching old seasons and feeds on youtube, can't wait for July 12th!!

I'm so pumped for Big Brother 14. I just hope they have a good twist or no twist at all. Robyn Kass tweeted this :

41 Days and counting...

What are the chances they get it right this season and cast a good cast and not have lame twists that either fail or have nothing much to do with the majority of the season. You would think with the competition this season that they might feel some pressure to actually produce a good season...

I'm excited as the season gets closer but, if we get another lame twist this season i'm going to be disappointed. All i want is 12 or 13 complete strangers is that to much to ask. and i love these smiley faces lol

Thoughts on the new preview?? Seems kind of early for this kind of preview when the houseguests haven't been chosen yet. Most houseguest I wonder how they will work that into the schedule.

I hope the "4 huge surprises" isn't the obvious 4 all stars. Unless, of course, some I love is one of them...

I hope it isn't past houseguests either whether I liked them or not, I want all new people is that too much to hope for.

I'm thinking past HGs as team captains and new HGs being placed in teams of 3 or 4. With Big Brother being "supersized", isn't it ironic that the show is starting a week later? Will some of the episodes be longer? (maybe competing with Summer Olympics?) Are the HGs overweight? The promo mentioned more HGs. Big Brother 9 had 16 players but two players were immediately evicted (Jacob and Sharon) and 1 left the game for unknown reasons to this day (Neil). I am guessing this year it will be 18 or 20 HGs with either 3 teams of 6 making 18 or 4 teams of 5 making 20. Those nomination ceremonies are gonna be a bitch!! Someone also speculated 3 people being nominated this season instead of 2. Well, keep the rumors coming!

The rumors of Russel Hantz being on better not be true! I vaguely remember hearing that last year too, so I'm hoping it's just another silly rumor. I'm not a Coach fan, but he would make for some interesting feeds, I'd love to hear the unedited versions of some of those stories!
