Well, at least Colton does not seem to discriminate in his discrimination. His bigotry seems to extend across all races, sexes, ages, etc. Now, that's what I call "equality!"

In his podcast interview, he said (I am paraphrasing) that he lived a somewhat sheltered life and had not experienced much homophobia (that's my memory of one of his statements). Anyone that spews out that kind of belittlement easily and effortlessly is traditionally one that is in a lot of pain and riddled with insecurity. A seasoned ability such as Colton's silver tongue is usually a defense mechanism used to "get them" before they can get me. It is a painful place to be (and not a pain that is always conscious or realized).

I used to have a reputation for a lethal tongue (I could cut a bitch...LOL) until I realized that I was feeding off the vulnerability of others to give myself a false sense of power and superiority. My venom was absent racism, but it was in the same category as ugly. In dealing with someone like him, it is important to continue to ask questions and invite them to consider other possibilities. If you simply indict them, it does nothing more than shine the light in the dark place (and no one wants to acknowledge the worst of themselves, especially in public!).

I keep saying it. Colton has a great opportunity here. I don't think he is quite ready yet, but all in good time. Sometimes awakening takes longer than we would like to wait.

Where is that Erika? I need a drink. What does one have to do for service in this joint? ;)

BTW now that I've "met" Lorraine, Erika, Mark, Smooches and Lloyd on here (and 12 year old Nik) does anyone know what moniker Keesha goes by? Does she post in the BB threads too or just calls into the show?

What a difference a week makes! Colton is medically evacuated from Survivor, Tebow is traded to the Jets, and now Erika has disappeared on us.

When Colton disappeared, it turned out he was filming Survivor.

OMG! Erika! Now, we know why she's gone.

Lucky Erika! As much as I can't stand to watch Russell on TV -- and by all accounts I wouldn't enjoy smelling him in real life either -- I would love to have him on my season and in my alliance if I were on Survivor. Because that man does NOT have what it takes to win and I would get every single vote.

Imagine if Erika gives Jeff the same silent treatment/space-out she sometimes gives Lorraine on the radio show.

SURVIVOR VS BIG BROTHER: Cooking while Asian gets you the big prize on BB (Jun) but gets you booted on Survivor (Jonas).

BEST LINE: “Two balls hanging on either side…both balls drop!”

Next week on Survivor, the men learn to count and realize 5 is less than 6.

Given the editing clues thus far this season, I'm gonna guess Troyzan will be the winner. Quotes like, "It's not Survivor if you ain't lyin'!" and "This could be a million dollar idol" are usually a good indicator.

The men are just ridiculously stupid. Getting rid of Jonas is the beginning of the end for them. Anyone who thinks Sabrina, or any other woman besides Kat, isnt going to realize that the women now have the numbers is crazy.
What ever happened to Survivor making it more difficult to find the idols? When is the last time anyone saw them need the clues for finding it? I have a tougher time finding an outfit to wear in the morning.

So true Lorraine. In Samoa, they practically hid the idols in Russell's pockets, and they've been easy to find ever since. I preferred the days when they sent you to Exile Island and you had to go enough times for the clues to finally lead you to it (and even then the clues were more difficult than, "Look under this bush.")

Jay's retort about the coffee would've made him an asshole to me...if it had been said to anyone else but Tarzan. That guy is clearly annoying! What's-her-face showed remarkable restraint when he threw his poopy underwear in her laundry pot without even asking her. I'd have killed him.

yup, Exile Island had the right idea. Oh and for the record.....HOW MANY TIMES IS THE IDOL GOING TO BE IN OR UP A FREAKING TREE??? sheesh, total lameness.
