its just too early to tell. Love that he got the Idol though!! I do like that he is bonding with the womens tribe. Time will tell!!!!

Great poll ladies. Since I am honestly not a huge fan of the game, I am not too sure on how he is doing? Viewing this show is obviously such a different experience than watching BB. It is merely an edited show that was filmed I believe last August and it really comes down to what the PTB want to air in each episode. This is just my opinion though. Colton was certainly a major focus in the first episode which I was happy to see....is this a good thing or bad thing though? Jun Song from BB4 does a power rankings blog on the SuperPass Reality Nation website and currently has Colton in 1st place! Would love to see him go far and I hope it happens for him! My vote for now is he is a caller and listener of BBAD radio. I don't believe he is going to suck at this game though, but like Lorraine states above, it is too soon to tell.

I'm going to pretend that I missed the whole first half of the show, and say that Colton played VERY well last night! He did exactly the right thing with that idol!!

I'm not even sure if it's a good idea to tell the other guys that he has an idol. I mean seriously when is it ever a good idea to tell anyone you have an idol?

Usually I'm totally against blabbing about the idol, but I think for him the only way he could get them on his side was to show them that he has it. I think Jonas even said that he went from 1st out to the leader(or something like that?) by having the idol.

And wtf was up with how bad the women did in that challenge? I thought for sure they'd win!

I was waiting for Jonas to start feeding Colton grapes the way he was gushing about Colton after Colton told them he had the idol. So for that I hope to have it work in his favor and that it did garner him TRUE trust in him and that they want to work with him.

I couldn't agree more. The women should have walked away with the challenge. What the heck was up with blondie (can think of her name) jumping in the water when she didnt have to? DUHHHHHHHH Just for that alone she should have been sent packing.
I was very concerned about Colton's game play on Wednesday. I kept thinking, what the heck is he doing??? Forming an alliance...any kind of alliance at this point is what he needed to do.
Bonding with the women, or trying to, is great and all but you have to get to the merge before its going to be of value to you. He needed to make a move with the men and he has done that. Lets hope he can continue to emerge is this seasons star...LOL!

I was pretty disappointed in Colton's gameplay with the last episode. Especially with him being such a student of the game. He clearly should have known isolating yourself with your tribe mates is clearly a bad idea. What was also surprising to me is how early on in the game that this started. I could see if he was getting homesick and it had been a couple of weeks and he just couldn't stand them any longer but it doesn't appear that he had even tried. Of course he doesn't have anything in common with the guys which probably for the most part nobody really did have something in common but you have to find some type of common ground or fake it until you make it! And not doing anything around camp wasn't too smart either. I could see if he didn't want to be the work horse but you have to put some effort at least when people are looking. I mean c'mon this is for a million dollars and he knows this game so well.
If this were anyone else but our beloved Colton I would say get them the fuck off the island LOL

It was difficult watching Colton on the last episode. This men vs. women twist really hit him hard, but I wonder how much of a first impression someone makes really affects the voting for a winner at the end of the game? As much as most of us on the forum would like Colton to do well and win, I'm really not sure what he is doing to help his position? I am not finding anyone else likable in this cast. Of course living in the outdoors for a short/long period of a time does not bring out the best in many people, but I feel like nobody is truly enjoying this experience at all. This makes the show difficult to watch (for me)! It was only Day 5 when the episode ended! Perhaps my thoughts are too negative since I don't consider myself a fan of the show. I plan to watch as long as Colton is on, but If he does not make it to the end, I don't really care who wins! no2

SURVIVOR 101: Pull your weight around camp! Don't alienate yourself from your ENTIRE tribe! And that's just 2 on my list of "Colton Mistakes". Naturally because he is apart of our family, I was going in wanting him to win, but now, he is the player of the season who annoys the hell out of me. However since we are only 2 episodes in, I am going to give him the benefit of the doubt and hope he makes a miraculous comeback in ALL ways!

Enjoyed watching Colton on last nights show. Unfortunately, his effort or lack thereof not to bond with the other tribe members is making it difficult to watch. Matt seemed too full of himself, and I did not catch the person who voted for Bill...cause it was NOT Colton. Has there ever been a sound bite from Leif? Anyway, it was rather gutsy not to use the Idol...I'm ready for a team swap....nobody is really bonding at all...and I'm still hating this cast. Everyone is starting to look alike to me! And why is there no intro theme with the cast names? Everything seems too serious all the time...end rant!

I know one thing....Colton is by far the most talked about Survivor this season and thats a good thing! Good or bad, you certainly want to be remembered.

For me Colton's gameplay .... I have a love and hate relationship with it. I love how he does stand out and has some funny one liners ... he's entertaining and as the saying goes "makes good TV". Not to mention because we know Colton it's another plus for wanting to root for him .... with that being said he's not making it all that easy to root for as he is game is flawed and mainly in regards to things you would think c'mon Colton you should know better.
- Pull your own weight at camp, at least when the others are looking. People have got sent home for not helping out around camp.
- Why tell everyone you have an idol? How many times have we seen the other tribe mates wanting the hidden idol flushed out of the game.
- Saying you're going to play it and then don't play it at tribal. Ok so you lied to them ... when they think you're going to play it to get rid of it.
- Not trying to get along with your tribe mates. I could see if it were at least a week into the game but this happened with the first couple of days if not day 1. You aren't out there to make friends, so what if you don't like them you have to play with them.
Those are just some of the stand out errors. Regardless of what way it shakes down I do believe as it stands now from what we've seen the game he is playing thus far would ultimately only bide him a few weeks. He certainly isn't playing for the long haul and that's what makes it hard to watch. It just seems like the inevitable for him to not win based off his gameplay. And I hate saying that but it is what it is.

I'm sorry but Colton was unbelievable on tonight's show. And NOT in a good way.

I have no words for tonights episode! I can not believe that Colton got the guys to go to tribal council instead of the girls. For all that was said at tribal I'm trying to wrap my head around it. I really don't think Colton did himself any favors tonight. Reading other places there is an universal hate out there for him. I hope he can handle the crazy fans (are there crazy survivor fans like big brother fans level?)

I don't think the Survivor nuts are nearly as insane as the BB ones, but I'm sure he's feeling the heat on Twitter! To be honest, I think he might like the hate! He dished it out sooooo many times on BBAD that I'm sure he can take it.

He was talking about how there are black people in his life that he loves. He said she's a part of the family! How could that be meant in a negative way? I think Colton has said some inexcusable racial comments, I just don't think that this was one of them.

Tonights episode of Survivor has done what doesn't happen often....left me at a loss for words. Did I just see what I think I saw? If I could find the words they would most likely be diabolical? Ruthless? Or maybe just flat out stupid?? I have no idea. But how in the world did all 8 guys agree to this....ESPECIALLY Leif and Bill. Had I been approached about giving up immunity I would have flat out said....OH HELLLLLL NOOOOO!

I was wondering if all that talk about voting out Leif was hyped up as a ruse (by Colton et al) to get Bill to agree to give up Tribal Immunity? If so, I wish they had made that clearer. It certainly would be the only way to explain the INCREDIBLE STUPIDITY of someone like Bill or Leif who were outright told they were on the chopping block and still agreed to go to TC when all they had to say was "No I don't agree to give up Tribal Immunity" and they would have been safe for another round!

Wow. No one's holding down the MENSA table on the men's tribe, that's for sure.

Last night's episode sure did stir up a lot of emotion!

It's disappointing to see Colton behave in this manner. I'm not even talking about the racism stuff because I really don't believe him to be spear heading any KKK rallies but just the lack of empathy for another human being. It was really sad. I'm all for ruthless players and let the chips fall where they may in the name of good game move.
This wasn't even a good game move this was stupidity at it's finest by all of them not just Colton. It's shocking to me how they all agreed to it. How Colton was able to make that happen and no one seemed to give much resistance to it.... unreal!
But aside from the stupid game move that was only done to get rid of Bill simply because Colton didn't like him? Not good enough, not even close to being good enough. And I still don't see what's so unlikeable about him? It wasn't like Bill was being a dick to Colton. Actually for as bratty as Colton was behaving I think Bill showed a hell of a lot of patience and over all class.

How Colton behaved at Tribal Council was just sad. Game aside - To say what he said and how he said it it was just shameful. Sucks because I wanted him to be awesome on the show not just because we know him and he's been on our show but because I know how badly he's been wanting to get on Survivor. He didn't leave a good mark. Yes he will be remembered but not for playing a good game.
Bill showed so much class when he was being torn to shreds and at the end said "He judged me because of my differences and I accepted him because of his"
My heart went out to Bill and if given a 2nd chance to come back if I had to choose who I would want back ...simple.
