Maksim Chmerkovskiy Karina Smirnoff Kissing Photo
Dancing With The Stars hoffers Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Karina Smirnoff have sparked rumors that they are doing the bedroom two-step behind-the-scenes of the hit ABC ballroom series after the Ukraine natives were snapped in a steamy liplock while heating up the dance floor at the ONE Sunset club in Los Angeles on September 29.
As Star reports exclusively in our Oct. 20 issue the Ukraine natives worked up a sweat on the dance floor at the ONE Sunset club in L.A. on Sept. 29. "They were getting closer and closer until they were grinding on each other," says the eyewitness. "They were dripping with sweat; it was incredibly hot and sexy."

Rocco Dispirito Out Of "Dancing with the Stars"
Rocco DiSpirito and his dance partner Karina Smirnoff perform on "Dancing With The Stars,"
The chef who never got cooking on the dance floor stage got eliminated from "Dancing with the Stars" Tuesday.
Rocco DiSpirito, the chef star of the reality show "The Restaurant", now takes a rest from ballroom dancing after his samba was found lacking Monday both by judges and apparently by home viewers too.
It couldn't have been a surprise, as DiSpirito was told last last week that he would have been out then had it not been a non-elimination week because of Misty May-Treanor withdrawal following an injury.
Still, it couldn't have felt good for the athletic looking 41-year-old to be leaving when Cloris Leachman, an elderly actress -- literally twice his age -- got to stay another week, tying DiSpirito for the lowest score this week.
But if the chef felt bad, he didn't show it. "I have nothing but grateful feeling to the entire cast and crew," he said in the closing minutes of the show. "This is a once in a lifetime experience."
To his professional dance partner, Karina Smirnoff, he said: "I know teaching me how to dance must feel like pushing a stone uphill sometimes but thank you so much. I owe you for the gift of dance, I really appreciate it."
Desipirito even had good words for his judges, including Carrie Ann Inaba and Len Goodman, who gave scores that tied him for last this week, and made him second to last a week ago. "Carrie Ann, for always having something gracious and positive to say, and Len, absolutely you're a class act."
As a last request, he wanted Bruno Tonioli to show him how to make his hips move properly. Ever the ham, Tonioli did.
Next week, the remaining eight celebrities and their partners will dance from one of four dances new to the show: The hustle, jitterbug, salsa and West Coast Swing, described by judge Len Goodman as "first cousins" of the Latin ballroom dancing that predominate on the show.

It's evident that the age group who are voting on DWTS are the elderly. it's the only thing that would explain why Cloris and Susan Lucci still being in the competition. Toni should not have been voted off, imo ok I'm done!

'Dancing' Pros Should Probably Shut Up (Oct. 23) - 'Dancing With the Stars' professionals Louis van Amstel and Maksim Chmerkovskiy probably don't have many female friends. The pros are both speaking up about fellow dancers, Cheryl Burke and Lacey Schwimmer, who they say need to lose weight. Are They Fat? Lacey Schwimmer and Cheryl Burke on 'Dancing With the Stars'
ABC
"If you want to gain weight, it's your prerogative. We all put on weight because there was no summer tour. But you have to deal with the consequences," van Amstel tells TV Guide. "When I first saw these women this season, I said, 'Guys, you know the camera adds 10 pounds. You have to do something about this,'" Chmerkovskiy adds. "[People] look at this show to be inspired and think, 'If I just work hard enough, I can look like that.' If they watch someone who's dancing her butt off and she's still heavy, they can be discouraged. You have to take responsibility," van Amstel finishes.

Good for Maksim!! ummmm this quote from Melissa in the article: ‘You can take the best baseball pitcher in the world and it doesn’t mean he can throw a football accurately.’ Is she kidding me??? 2 different sports, dancing is dancing. If you taken dance and ballet your whole life, you have an advantage on the other "novices". great argument I do have to say that maybe Maksim is taking it a bit too far when saying that Katarina should be paired with someone she has a chance to win with. UMMMM isnt that the whole premise of the show to take NON experienced dancers and try to make them good dancers? Whatever....cancel this show because its turning into a joke.
LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Melissa Rycroft may have received glowing reviews from the judges – and the fans – following last week’s season premiere of “Dancing With the Stars,” but one of her fellow competitors is calling foul.
Professional dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy, who is paired with actress Denise Richards, said the former “Bachelor” star has a leg up on the competition thanks to her previous dancing experience.
“Its very hard for me because Tony [Dovolani] is my best friend, but if we’re gonna call it what it is, it’s very unfair because Melissa’s a dancer – she was a cheerleader and did ballet,” Maksim told TVGuide.com.
Experience or not, Melissa had less than 48 hours to prepare for last week’s “Dancing” debut after being named as the replacement for Access Hollywood’s Nancy O’Dell, who was forced out of the competition by a serious knee injury.
But the lack of rehearsal time didn’t seem to affect the duo’s performance, as their waltz netted a score of 23 out of 30 from the judges.
Following last week’s season premiere, Nancy spoke with Melissa and partner Tony Dovolani, who both responded to the notion Melissa had an unfair advantage.
“I’m not the first one that’s ever had a dance background on here before,” she noted. “I’ve danced before, but it’s totally [different]… When I’m explaining it to people, I say, ‘You can take the best baseball pitcher in the world and it doesn’t mean he can throw a football accurately.’ That’s how I feel… So while I’ve danced, I’ve never danced like this. I’m learning along with everybody else.”
Tony agreed, harkening back to past “Stars” who have brought some formal training to the dance floor.
“Every season we’ve had that,” Tony told Nancy. “[Shawn Johnson’s] gymnastics background, we’ve had Joey [Fatone], we had Lance [Bass] last season. We had Mel B. They all had a dance background, and so does Melissa, but she has a ballet background – ballroom is a whole new animal.”
However, Melissa and Tony weren’t the only “Dancing” pair Maksim took exception with – he also offered some choice words for Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, who is paired with his fiancée Karina Smirnoff.
“Steve’s an amazing guy and incredibly friendly. He’s very entertaining, he’s trying his best and I’ve never seen anyone work harder than Steve,” Maks added. “Having said that, he probably won’t be in the semifinal or final. I think Karina deserves to be partnered with someone she has a chance with.”

I like Maks but c'mon get a clue this show isn't about Karina, sure Steve sucks but so does his partner so why is he bitching about Karina's partner, and as far as Melissa is concerned to even think she is learning these dances just like Steve or Ty is and her arguement being that they are all on the same playing field is plain BS.

Seems as though others support what Maks has been saying....love it.
Does Melissa Rycroft Have Unfair Advantage on DWTS?
Melissa Rycroft and Tony Dovolani delivered a smokin' hot salsa on Monday evening's Dancing With the Stars. But after the show, The Bachelor beauty found herself, once again, on the hot seat over her dancing background.
"I'm not the only person that has ever come in here with dance experience," Melissa told Access Hollywood when asked if she has a leg up on her foes.
Dancing pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy sparked the debate prior to Week 2 of the hit ABC show, telling TV Guide it was unfair that Rycroft was allowed to compete with her background in ballet and as a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader.
When given the opportunity to backtrack on that, Maksim stood strong in his stance: "Let me be that voice of everybody who thinks [it] but won't say it."
"I mean, I can't be expected to compete next to someone that's had a lot of dance training," Maksim's partner, Denise Richards, added. After Monday night's show, where Melissa Rycroft turned in her second impressive performance in as many weeks, it seemed more members of the cast were ready to throw fuel on this smoldering Dancing with the Stars fire.
"I'm not going to say anything about it being unfair, but compared to everybody else, there is a huge difference in ability," Julianne Hough said.
Not everyone's a critic, though.
Melissa's dance partner this season, Tony Dovolani, took exception to the comments made by his good friend and competitor, Maksim.
"Well, I would love to say to Maks, 'How about Mel?'" Tony said, referring to Maksim's partner in Season 5, former Spice Girl Mel B. "That's all I'm going to say."
For her part, Melissa Rycroft insists her success on the dance floor is a product of her hard work with Dovolani, rather than her prior experience.
"There have definitely been people that have more [experience] than me. But it's not benefiting me at all, believe me. It's not like we practice for a day and have six off," Rycroft, who was cheered by new beau Ty Strickland, said.
Melissa and Tony's fancy footwork has certainly paid dividends with the judges - earning the couple scores of 23 and 26 out of 30 in each week, respectively.
However, Sex and The City heartthrob Gilles Marini and partner Cheryl Burke have netted the high score each week so far, with impressive scores of 24 and 27, respectively - despite no professional dancing experience for him.
In the end, reigning Dancing with the Stars champ Derek Hough said it's up to the voters to decide if Melissa's background goes against the theme of the show.
"It really just depends on what American wants to see. Do they want to see a non-dancer become a dancer, or do they want to see a dancer dance?" Derek said.
Ultimately, Maksim seemed to agree that it's all up to the audience.
"Does she have dance training? Of course. But it doesn't matter if people love what she does," he concluded. "You know, Mazel Tov to her, as we say."

It's not the same playing field and for her to keep acting like she's learning the dances just like everyone else is pure bullshit, she must think people are really dumb... wait - nevermind that would be a good call being that there were so many up in arms over her alleged broken heart.
I love Maks saying what everyone else is thinking but too chicken shit to say! Go Maks!
