BB13 - Week 10 Discussion

I think no matter what Porsche is playing for 2nd place regardless who she takes.

Since Porsche and Rachel have said that they would take each other to the F2 regardless who wins I think if Porsche were to win the F2 and not take Rachel she loses Rachel's vote and Brendon's automatically and Jeff and Jordan would never vote for Porsche for personal reasons. Right there are the 4 votes Adam would need.

If Porsche wins and takes Rachel she's again taking 2nd place because Adam, Jeff, Brendon and Jordan would vote for Rachel.

If Rachel wins it doesn't matter who she takes she wins the 500k

Adam should really consider himself lucky he made it as far as he did because he has been a coward the entire game and wasn't doing anything to further his own game.

I think Rachel will win it. So glad that Adam the coat tail rider will not be going. He did nothing this season except sit back and coast or kiss JJ's butts.

Adam is not giving up, which is good to see. He is going to hold his jury vote over their head which is a smart idea since he is most probably the swing vote. He said he is going to tell the girls a few hours before that whoever doesn't take him will not get his vote and basically making a 450,000 mistake. He also said that if they do take him he will campaign to the juror members to give him second place.
This could get interesting will the girls believe him and both try to throw the final part not to lose his vote?
I think it would be smart for Rachel to take Adam because that is 100% she wins but against Porshe it is 50/50. Jordan pretty much broke down the votes for Rachel before she left and told her to take Adam because she would get the votes but she might not have them against Porshe. I hope she heard what Jordan was telling her.
For Porshe it is better to take Rachel just because she might lose Rachel vote if she kicks out Rachel and therefore losing the game. But she might lose against Rachel if she is one that kicks out Adam.

I wouldn't mind seeing Rachel win this season. But to play devil's advocate to hear her arguement is a bit of a stretch.



She has said she had to fight the entire time during the game because she was not safe. Which is untrue and if she had this target on her back it's mostly her own doing since she had caused a lot of her own drama.



She wins the 1st HOH - she has safety that week

2nd and 3rd week she had safety with Jordan winning the 2nd HOH and Rachel again winning the 3rd HOH



Week 4, 5, and 6 were HOHs were spent getting Brendon out and well the 5th was a joke in where thanks to Shelly she took the target off Rachel and had Kalia putting her own up. Wasn't like Rachel fought to keep herself off.



Week 7 Jeff won HOH and Rachel again was safe.



In Rachel's own mind do I see her as "fighting the entire season"



She can't even bring up last season because that has nothing to do with this season. And the problems she had last season again were her own doing because she brought on a lot of the drama.

I think she might be using the fighting as in she had to win comps to make sure of her safety. Basically meaning she couldn't afford to throw a comp or not try her 100% to win or else she had a chance to go home. I think she should use that she was a bigger target instead of fighting because they all fought to some extent, but she had a huge target the moment she step in the house because of last year.

I haven't been watching but from what I've heard Adam had the talk with Porsche so far and what Adam had to say didn't faze her, but does anything faze Porsche?

Adam is saying he will not vote for the person who doesnt take him to the end which I dont think he will accually do. I think it would be smart for Rachel to take Adam because she would secure Alot of votes that were not hers. But I just hope Rachel stays calm during her final 2 questions with the Jury

Arguments aside, I think Rachel will have a much harder time winning the season taking Porsche to the Final 2 instead of Adam. She made a mistake when she left nasty goodbye messages to 3 of the jury members. For the HG, that is their last "direct" communication with them and although Rachel did not have the best relationships with Daniele, Kalia, and Shelly, sometimes reflecting on the flaws on the relationship and taking partial responsibility for their actions goes a long way, than telling someone off and rubbing it in their face that they are out of the house and she is still there to compete and win.

But, Rachel is only 27 years old, and it is clearly a maturity issue...

The majority of people are rooting for Rachel to win because she played the game the entire summer on a competitive level whereas the others that are left were completely absent from half of the game and at times forgotten (Porsche), or they were carried through due to major kiss-assing and waffling between sides all season (Adam). However, Porsche and Adam were not argumentative and much less emotional than many of the HGs this year, which would also place them in a good light as far as having a good social game.

Adam wins the social game hands down, but made no powerful moves or big decisions even if he was HOH.

Porsche really played this game all on her own. She was really never a solid member of any alliance, even Daniele's, and Porsche knew that. However, she played in Daniele and Kalia's wicked games even more than the other two, and I really hope someone like that does not get awarded $500,000. Her game was never enjoyable to watch because she came across very indifferent and cold throughout the whole season, whenever she made an appearance or was spotlighted. I still don't get her and I never will!

As unfortunate as it is, at this point Porsche will win. I have no doubt in my mind. No way that Adam votes for Rachel after his strange, sudden hate for her. It really is upsetting that he, or anyone, would vote for Porsche simply because he despises Rachel.

Arg I really don't want Porsche to win but if Rachel is dumb enough to take her to final two (if she has the choice) then I hope Rachel loses for making such a dumb mistake. Not only that I hope everyone tells her she should have taken Adam and she would have won. I hope especially that Jordan tells her she should have listen to her about taking Adam. Before Jordan left she gave her great advice on how to chose and really weigh out the votes but it seems like Rachel completely ignored her. Not only that Jordan told her she couldn't beat Porsche but she could beat Adam. I really don't think Rachel has thought about who will get what votes. Both Dani and Kalia called Adam out in their speeches so they probably wouldn't give him a vote opposed to definitely voting for Porsche over her.

I think Shelly is the swing vote accually. Rachel vs Porsche I think Shelly might give it to Rachel.. Rachel talk with Shelly saying she was a great player and all and EVEN in the Jury Shelly repeats that Rachel said Shelly was playing an Amazing game to Jeff. So I think Shelly may give a vote to Rachel.

Jordan told Rachel to take Adam and I kinda think she will still because Jordan has won the game and She will win against Adam. I think she is putting on a face to bring Porsche but I think she might listen to Jordan in the end HOPEFULLY.

I know Adam doesnt Deserve 2nd place and Im SICK of him especially his hate because of Rachel saying what she gave up to be hear and that porsche was recommended and didnt audition like her or Adam and Adam is pissed off about that and I have no idea why lol

I am so excited for the show tonight hopefully they don't waste too much time going over what went on this week since nothing has really been going on. I can not wait to see how this vote goes like so many times this season the vote might be up in the air. The same people that were wild cards in votes all season are the same wild card votes again. Why are they showing survivor first instead of the other way around? Ladies what time are you opening the chat tonight?

Well, it looks like Production got its wish after all. A Vet won, a Vet won America's Favorite and all is right with JJ Fans, sort of. I hope they realize, and Jeff, that he now has more money then the second place winner. I also hope Rachel enjoys her win since Brendon will end up taking all her money like he did after BB12 and spending it on webcams and his College classes.

The Talk was interesting! It was basically Rachel saying how she won, The Zingbot and Rachel winning a honeymoon to Aruba for her and Brendon given to them by The Talk.. For Someone who didnt talk to Julie HOH all season she sure got something lol

Overall, I enjoyed this season. I'm one of the few that enjoyed having the vets there because it made me a lot more invested than ever before! I think the 90 minute finale worked fine, everyone that mattered got spoken to. I wan't a fan of how much time Dick got, but AG loved him even before she loved Jeff, so it's expected. My favorite part of the finale was Adam and Dani making huge asses of themselves! They'll never be taken seriously.

Regarding Dumbledoregate, at the risk of beating a dead horse:

I want to preface this by saying two things:
- At season's end my ranking all HGs based upon game play and personal preference, Jeff still ranks 3/13, so I'm not so much anti-Jeff as I am disappointed in Jeff
- The only reason I'm bringing this up is because of the post show Evel Dick interview and how he handled this, otherwise it's in the past

But I think this illustrates Jeff's biggest character flaw: arrogance, and I do think it comes from being continually given a free pass for being an attractive, approachable, personable guy.

Even after Dick clarified that this was not shown on CBS, but on the LIVE feeds, Jeff said that he wasn't sure how the incident was "portrayed" and that it was "taken out of context." It wasn't portrayed by anything except himself talking to Kalia, making a fool of himself. It was shown live; it's impossible to take it out of context. It seems like he thinks that the "out of context" excuse is automatically valid and he doesn't have to address direct questions about it. He doesn't seem to know what the phrase means.

He also mentioned that he knew as soon as he started talking he should have stopped because whenever someone talks about "that issue" it gets automatically twisted. Maybe that does happen sometimes, but in this case, you shouldn't have to fear talking about a subject unless you know your opinion is baseless and/or unpopular.

It's just hard to take his non-answers about this seriously, especially when they come off as either lies or delusion. He kept skirting the actual issue and was never able to say that he was fine with a gay person in a position of authority with children even though he could have said that at any time and it would have likely defused the issue. He never owned his actions or made any genuine attempt to clarify and blamed everyone else instead.

It reminds me of how he blamed Porsche for not talking to him for most of the game when, in reality, it was both of their faults. In Big Jeff's world, it seems like it's usually someone else's fault and everyone else owes him unquestioning acceptance for what he says and does.
