BB13 - Week 4 Discussion

Is it just me, or has this season become predictable and boring?! I find it really pathetic that the newbie who won at least one competition is gone, and that no one else can win anything. Adam mentioned on the feeds that he was the first one out of the veto competition. And for someone that was considered a strong competitor, Jeff has not been doing well at all, but he has 10k though. I honestly don't see Jeff/Jordan working with Rachel once Brendon is gone. I think the only votes for Brendon this week will be Rachel and Porsche. If Porsche does NOT vote for Brendon, Rachel will be pissed. I wonder if the return of a HG will actually go through now that it is not Jeff/Jordan in real danger of leaving? I know it is still early in the week, but I just don't see Jordan getting evicted at all.

Can this season of BB be saved? I REALLY hope so!

If I was Dani, I would tell Porsche that Brendon & Rachel tried to offer her up for their safety (and have Kalia do the same) adding that they offered her up when she wouldn't accept Lawon. Yes, it would be a lie. It would definitely plant a seed of doubt in her head (probably not enough to separate her from Rachel, given her options, but it would be worth the effort).

Just wanted to say hello...since there is absolutely nothing to talk about as far as the feeds go.....boring I really hope that when Brenda leaves thursday Rachel snaps out of her stepford wife personality and gets back to season 12 Rachel.

On the bright side, this is the 1st summer in a long time my house is sparkling clean and the fam has been getting regualr meals..lol

We need a DICK in the house! I think everyone would vote him back in the house at this point regardless if he has seen the show and live feeds! Why is the season turning out to be such a disaster? These twists that are far from over as per Julie coming up better be freakin awesome...

I'm so glad to find out that I am not the only one to find this season incredibly boring and predictable. The season was ruined by Ed leaving the game. Imagine the chaos in the house if he had stuck around. Couple that with the incredibly stupid and spineless way the newbs have played this season....well, its not much fun right now.

I just flashbacked the feeds to 5am today and watched Adam in the BY while everyone was asleep talking about how he doesn't want to win HOH this week, he says it would be the wrong move. He seems to think he's safe if Lawon, Jeff, Jordan, Rachel or Shelly win HOH this week, he's iffy on Porsche and Dani and he thinks Kalia would put him up for sure.

I think Adam needs a realty check, I think that regardless who wins HOH he's going on the block, either as a pawn or the target, unless he somehow wins HOH Thursday.

Brenchel is so clueless, do they actually think Shelly is a vote for Brendan this week?

Do they not see how far Shelly's up JeJo's butts?

Rachel better win HOH Thursday or she'll be following her bookie outta the game

I agree..this conversation went very bad very quick. Its one thing to try and get a vote, but they have been bashing jeff and jordan on a very personal level. Way over the top considering they both know how close Shelly is to J/J. Brendan kept saying he thinks Jeff will work with Dani..after shelly tells this, Brenda might just get what he wished for.

Between this conversation, the way he interrogated Porche the night she came out of the hoh with Dani, and his comment about the fire at Brit's house being karma, Thursday cant come quick enough. I just cant believe the arrogance this guy has..WOW !!!!

Is it just me or is Shelly so chillingly brilliant (or sociopathic) that one cannot figure out whose side she is really on? Usually when one lies on Big Brother, they cannot contain their ego and are compelled to share their deception with someone that they consider to be on their side. I wonder if her diary room sessions reveal anything that CBS has not shown us. Shelly is such a "straight shooter" with everyone, telling everyone exactly what they want to hear and masterfully collecting information that even I am uncertain as to whose side (other than her own) that she is playing on. She actually frightens me a little. Am the only one?

Does anyone else find it hilarious that Rachel speaks of how "wrong" it is to manipulate other people's emotions? This girl really needs help. She is one of the must self UNaware people that I have ever seen.

I love when Rachel gets psycho for no reason! Why the hell does it matter what Dani writes in her blog?! I hope that she's like this next week when she's inevitebly on the block...

It was the most random and irrational thing ever. What are the chances Rachel runs out the door after Brendan tomorrow when he is evicted.

Shelly is playing a great social game. (I was just schooled by Ragan on Getting Schooled on SuperPass for the correct meaning of having a social game ). I'm not frightened by her per se, but she is a business woman who knows how to play "the game", and this is someone who may surprise us all and beat even Jordan at the end of this game if they are the F2. No matter how much socializing she does with Brenchel which they seem to do a lot each morning, Shelly will be with Jeff and Jordan. I don't think her deal with Porsche is genuine at all, but she is a classic manipulative, charming, individual who knows how to get to people in which they will never be offended or fooled. Sadly, it is people like her that make me question if there is any good old trust left in this world?!

Meanwhile, I am happy that there was SOME drama on the feeds this week even if it was silly. (Rachel vs. Daniele and the HOH blog). I was not interested in seeing the trashbag wedding which was practically the only other BIG event that happened this week.
I was hoping for something after the POV meeting with Brendon supposedly blindsiding everyone with using the veto on Rachel, but sadly Rachel remained too calm after Brendon won the POV, thus there had to have been people really speculating Brendon's actions with how he would use the POV. The whole aftermath of the ceremony just seemed like no big deal on the feeds (at least to me), as everyone went back to their corners to sleep.

What if Rachel did self-evict? Then they would be forced to bring 2 HGs back (probably). LOL

FYI...Brendan has been asking for Dr Zachary, to have Rachels mental stability checked...ya think???..its not rocket science...lol

You're definitely not alone on Shelly either. Is this Shelly's game play or is this just who Shelly is? By that I mean, is she just a master manipulator and liar, or does she actually believe the things she's saying? I don't think we're getting too much from DRs that clarify her mindset, but then again, the episodes pretty much always focus on the Vets, using the Newbies' DR sessions for lamely coached exposition and one-liners.

Every once in a while her behavior seems to indicate she could be just plain insane, and her biggest goal might be to see J/J win. Or one night she was authoritatively lecturing the younger HGs on socialism, but in reality came across as ignorant. She fully believed what she was saying with conviction in that whole listen-to-your-momma way, but what she was saying was off the mark. Of course that's not the game, but it's similar behavior. When she says she tells no lies, does she actually believe that? Or is she just so cool and remorseless that her lies have the necessary conviction to appear truthful in a brilliant sort of way?

This is why Shelly is my most interesting Newbie (forgetting all the "I'm a mother, so in this game..." speeches) and one of the more interesting HGs we've had in the later seasons.

Dear Big Brother: Please wheel a large cross and some rusty nails into the house and allow Rachel to nail herself to it. Enough already! Let her take her toys and go home. Boo hoo...wahhhhhhhhhhh!

Rachel has completely lost it, and it sucks to see someone so competitive really just quit because things are no longer going her way. Lorraine or whoever said that this season was ruined when ED left is correct. Brenchel keep going back to Day 6 when they wanted to quit then. This is the exact attitude I am feeling when watching this season....there has been this underlying feeling of negativity all season.

It is really sad to see how little self confidence she has.

Actually, this is the behavior of a narcissist...one that is fed by victimization. I truly do not believe that she is actually self-destructing. For a narcissist, this type of behavior is like nutrition (they feed on it). To me, it is sad that there are so many people in United States that would consider this to be the opportunity of a lifetime and we are forced to watch these two "pee on it" all because they are so self-absorbed.

I do not feel bad for Rachel one bit...sorry. She just cant stand it when things dont go her way.. She sounds like such an idiot right now. She is blaming everyone except herself and bookie for everything...

Brendan really needs to stop coddling her and make her take some responsibility for her actions. He should have never took her off the block, he should have let her leave and maybe he would have a chance at the money This is going to be one crazy day. I cant wait for the HOH lockdown

BB has the knack for casting the unstable. Rachel, Lydia, Amber, those 2 whack jobs from season two (I think) with the whole knife to the throat thing...pretty much all of season 9 except for a few etc etc. Brendon should never have used the veto on her.
