Last night, the re-vivified "Tonight Show with Jay Leno" spent six
long minutes trying to wring laughs from MTV's Guidos and Guidettes in
a Jeopardy-like "Battle of the Celebrity All-Stars" segment:

Only Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino appears to possess a brain not
fake-tanned into catatonia, correctly identifying a photo of Fed
chairman Ben Bernanke.

And after spoofing themselves everywhere from FunnyorDie.com to "Lopez Tonight," the "Jersey Shore" cast is kind of played out anyway.

Interestingly, David Letterman's Wednesday night guests included Jerry Seinfeld, whose "Marriage Ref" took over Leno's former 10 p.m. slot on NBC.

I was actually surprised that "The Situation" had a brain.

um "The Catcher in the......closet"????? lol

I don't think they should have had her back on the show...oh well, maybe she will add to the drama.

'Jersey Shore' Season 2 to include Angelina Pivarnick

Jersey Shore Season 2 will include Angelina Pivarnick...at least to start with. The 22 year old infamously and abruptly left mid-season during the original Jersey Shore in Seaside Heights. But the Staten Island, NY native confirmed today (Saturday) she'll be returning for the reality show's second season. Pivarnick sent this tweet out letting fans know she'll be reuniting with the rest of the Jersey Shore cast very soon: "This is my last tweet," she wrote. "I just wanna say THANK U for all your love & support, "JS2" is possible because of u. I'm gonna miss ....Lots of love."

The stars of MTV's reality show have slowly been signing off Twitter over the last week, since the network forbids use of computers, cell phones and the Internet during the two month long production period. Snooki, JWoWW, Pauly D and Mike "The Situation" were the first to fall silent. As Examiner.com reported they were also the first four to head to the not-so-secret location via MTV escorts. With the exception of Snooki, they've all confirmed management, family, or friends will be taking over their accounts while they're shooting Jersey Shore 2.

Miami businesses saying no to Jersey Shore because of its insane contract

Businesses in Miami Beach are rejecting requests for MTV to film the cast of Jersey Shore at their establishments, and in at least some cases, it’s because of the insane contract producers ask locations to sign.
The contract “gives Snooki, JWoww, The Situation and the others the right to do anything they want on a property whose owner signs — without any liability for producers, Double Guns LLC, and MTV,” The Palm Beach Post reports. The paper says the show has been rejected by The W Hotel, the Delano hotel, the Mondrian hotel, The Shore Club, and Rapids Water Park.
The water park’s spokesperson said that’s because “the contract gives them the right to do whatever they want, including breaking things, trashing the place, and there’s nothing we could do. That’s too much of a risk.”
The full contract [PDF] also includes nutty—but, sadly, increasingly standard—passages like these:

“For dramatic purposes, (producers) may make certain misrepresentations to you and others. The Project may lead to emotional strains and pressures on you, your business, your friends, your co-workers and family.”

“Your actions and the actions of others displayed in the Project may be disparaging, embarrassing or of an otherwise unfavorable nature and may expose you, your business, your friends, your co-workers and/or your family to public ridicule, humiliation or condemnation.”

So Long, Snooki: Jersey Shore Gets All-New Cast for Season 3

Snooki, the Situation and Pauly D will soon be relegated to making appearances at county chili cook-offs, as Jersey Shore producers are currently searching for an all-new cast for the show’s third season. In a profile of executive producer Doron Ofir, BlackBook magazine revealed that the current heavily-muscled, overly-tanned cast will be out of a job after next season.

Given the massive popularity of Snooki and the rest of the Jersey Shore scamps, it may seem surprising that MTV is ready to give them the boot. So why the change of heart? As usual, it’s all about the Benjamins: the network was reportedly unhappy that the cast demanded a massive raise for Season 2, negotiating their way up to $10,000 US per episode. That’s about $1,000 per inch, as far as Snooki is concerned.

But there’s still one more season with the original Jersey Shore kids; they’re currently filming the second installment in Miami, which will premiere July 29. And, in the meantime, Ofir is casting for countless Jersey Shore spinoffs, including The Persian Version, Wicked Summer, Chongas and Friggin’ Weddings. We wish we were joking about that; we really do.

A 24-year-old woman is accusing Sammi "Sweetheart" Giancola of punching her twice in the head Saturday, leaving her with a bruised eye, reports the Associated Press. The victim filed a police report Tuesday.
Kristen DeMinco claims Giancola confronted her in the VIP area of the nightclub Dream after she began talking to her beau Ronnie Magro.

"She exchanged bad words at me," DeMinco told the AP. "I exchanged bad words back. She hit me twice in the face and I just backed off right after that. I didn't want to get involved a fight."

Though MTV has yet to comment on the allegations, DeMinco told the AP: "This isn't acceptable for people to be going around hitting people just for TV. I think it's wrong of MTV, I think it's wrong of them. I think they do it on purpose." bingo!!

Last season on the MTV reality show, a New York City high school teacher was arrested for slugging Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi in the face.
The show, which premieres its second season July 29, may add some new characters by the end of season two, it was announced Tuesday.

why was she even asked back?
It should make for some good drama though.


Jersey Shore Season 2 News: Angelina Pivarnick Moves Out

The Cast Member Who Left Jersey Shore Season One Early Also Seems to Have Left Season 2 Early As Well!
Angelina Pivarnick left the Jersey Shore after only a few episodes in season one, but to the surprise of some fans she returned in season two to be a part of the house and the drama once again.
However, after rumors that the rest of the cast were being mean to her and not welcoming her back with open arms, it appears that Angelina has had enough once again and she is no longer living with the cast members, although she is apparently still on the show and living in a different location.

The rest of the cast, Snooki, Sammi, Jwoww, The Situation, Vinny, Pauly D and Ronnie all seemed to really hate Angelina and could not understand why she had come back. They think she just wanted to get her part of the fame they have experienced since and they resent her for that.

How Angelina manages to still be on the show but not live in the house all seems a little confusing however.
As expected, the drama surrounding Angelina will be part of Jersey Shore season 2, which will air starting July 29.

'Jersey Shore' Season Two Has '1,000 Times More Drama,' JWoww Says


'I'm definitely a Jersey Shore kind of girl,' she tells MTV News after the cast's Miami vacation.





The time has almost come to return to the Shore! With the season-two premiere of "Jersey Shore" quickly approaching, fans are clamoring for details — and they're sure to get plenty when the show's entire cast appears on the red carpet the MTV Movie Awards pre-show, airing live at 8:00 p.m. ET on Sunday. During MTV News' "Jersey Shore Blow-Out at the MTV Movie Awards," the gang will also present the first 10 minutes of the show's second season.
On Tuesday, MTV News caught up with Jenni "JWoww" Farley to get some inside info on what viewers can expect from the second season, which debuts July 29, as well as her thoughts on the cast's field trip to Miami, where they filmed the first part of the new season.
"Everything was amazing," she said, mentioning the beautiful beaches, clear water and the people of Miami as highlights. "We were [welcomed with] open arms. There was no drama, they loved us, so it was easy on us."
Farley said the cast enjoyed their trip, but by the time filming wrapped in the Sunshine State, they were ready to go back to their house in Seaside Heights. "I'm definitely a Jersey Shore kind of girl," she said. "I loved Miami. The clubs stay open later when it's all said and done. But Jersey Shore ... you have to be on the Shore."
Regarding the big changes from season one to season two, Farley said she and her co-stars' newfound celebrity hasn't affected them too much. "We're still the same people," she said, but season two is going to pack a major punch.
"There's 1,000 times more drama, 1,000 times more fights, makeups, breakups," Farley promised. "We've become a bigger family, more close. It's overall 1,000 times better than the first season."

Season two of "Jersey Shore" premieres Thursday, July 29, at 10 p.m. ET/PT on MTV. Be there!

The oil-soaked handwriting is on the wall ... TMZ has learned "Jersey Shore" is about to lose 4 familiar, overly-tanned faces in Season 3 ... to make room for 4 fresh overly-tanned faces.


Our spies tell us ... the footage that was already shot of Sammi, Ronnie, Vinny and Angelina has "underwhelmed" MTV honchos. As for replacing them for Season 3, one source said, "They should be very worried."

As for The Situation, Snooki, Pauly D and Jwoww ... they're sold for next season.

I certainly agree about Angelina and think the show can do without her. I liked Vinny though and am surprised about him not being asked back. I am not surprised by Ronnie and Sammi though. Last season, had it not been for Ronnie hitting that guy and going to jail, the two of them were a huge bore. I am wondering if this season it was just more of the same. You know, those two secluding themselves from the group etc. Lets face it, the producers want drinking, fist pumping, random hookups and drama. I am betting those 2 didnt cut it assuming that they are still a couple. It will be interesting to watch this season to see if we agree or disagree with their decision. I do agree though that its questionable whether they can bring new people into the show to mesh with the old cast. Can't wait for the season to start although how in the world will we be able to concentrate on Jersey Shore with Big Brother in full force?

"Jersey Shore" Cover Shoot Creates Queer Situation

It may take the guys from "Jersey Shore" awhile to put it together, but when they realize their cover shoot for the Village Voice makes them look gay, they might be ticked off.

The counter-culture New York tabloid got Vinny Gaudagnino, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino to pose shirtless on their upcoming issue, and normally, these guys love, uh, exposure. But what they didn't know was that the edition is the "Queer Issue," and the cover story is all about gay "guidos" on New Jersey's beaches.

"They didn't know," a source told the New York Post.

Ortiz-Magro, in particular, has been known for homophobic rants on the show, using curses and epithets to describe gay men.

While the MTV reality show stars are known for trolling Jersey Shore bars for hetero hookups, the Voice article details how muscle-bound, gay Italian Americans have their own seamy oceanside scene.

"The Jersey Shore has made Seaside Heights notorious. Central to the show’s success is The Situation & Co.’s blend of the homophobic and homoerotic, mixed together like a potent Long Island Iced Tea," writes Tony Phillips. "But long before Snooki and her housemates, homosex has been alive and well on the Jersey Shore."

Photographer Carrie Schechter, who did the shoot in a Williamsburg studio, said the trio

"The boys were total pros on set; light-hearted, hysterical, and total gentlemen," she wrote on her website. "We all had a lot of fun!"

"Though we were in a very industrial part of Williamsburg, Brooklyn, far away from the public and paparazzi, within 1 minute of The Situation going out to smoke a cigarette, young girls in sexy clothes materialized out of thin air," she added. "It was pretty comical."

Im actually hoping Angelina can redeem herself. It was dumb of her to leave for that married schmuck. It will be awesome to see her and Jwoww go at it.

I saw a pic on one of the entertainment sites of Sammi and Ron looking lovey dovey in the pool together so it's possible that they went down single and then hooked up again. Their cute together but boring so hopefully if there are back together, its toward the end of the season.

I know its Big Brother time but this trailer for JS is too good NOT to watch!!! Snooki goes after Angelina, Sammi and Jwoww get into a brawl. This season is going to be great!! loads of drama! lol

Sammi and Ronnie??
I read somewhere that the fight we saw between Sammi and Jwoww was MUCH MUCH worse then what we saw and that Ronnie actually scratched Jwoww in the face. What a Man!!!! Sickening that Sammi called Jwoww and Snooki whores but yet she is still with Ronnie who made a complete and total jack ass out of her. go figure.
