Well we all know that Adam LamEbert was dis-invited to Good Morning America and he is losing radio play by the second, but now he has been dis-invited to Dick Clarks Rockin new years bash and Jimmy Kimmel. I think he brought it on himself but is this going too far? Or did Adam go too far and make this happen. IMO, he acted like a pig. It has nothing to do with discriminating against him because he is gay, which he claims, but rather discrimination against his vile display. As I told Erika, I wouldnt want to see ANYONE force someones face into their grinding crotch....ewwww
Look, I wasn’t a huge fan of Adam Lambert’s now infamous American Music Awards set — the groping and kissing and simulated fellatio seemed more cynical than sexy to me, and Adam admitted himself (in the video embedded below) that his vocal was “kind of a mess” — but from the subsequent fallout at ABC, you’d think the guy had crushed a trio of baby penguins under the heel of one of his fabulous platform boots. I mean, it seemed a wee overzealous when the network pulled the plug on Adam’s Good Morning America concert a few days after the AMAs, but yesterday’s news that the network has now canceled Lambert’s Dec. 17 Jimmy Kimmel Live appearance, and according to Lambert, a slot on Dick Clark’s New Years Rockin’ Eve, has advanced the situation to the point of the ridiculous. (“We decided not to move forward with the booking at this time,” a network spokesperson said of the Kimmel cancellation, while declining comment on NYRE, which, incidentally, has yet to announce its lineup.) Let’s keep in mind that ABC is the home of allegedly family-friendly Dancing With the Stars, where popular pro Derek Hough celebrated a win this past season in the “Group Mambo” round by forcibly thrusting partner Joanna Krupa’s head into his nether-regions. (Lambert fans are also dismayed that their man has become a possible FCC pariah despite the fact that Pink and a male dancer executed a similar “please come closer and examine my zipper” dance move — with tongue! — during the 2004 Billboard Music Awards on Fox.) Lambert, for his part, is remaining philosophical and chipper — “Yes, sadly friends, ABC has canceled my appearances on Kimmel and NYE. : ( don’t blame them. It’s the FCC heat,” he Tweeted yesterday — but I can’t help but wonder if ABC hasn’t devised an entire 2010 public-relations campaign based around snubbing the American Idolseason 8 runner-up.

I think that the reason why ABC was so upset by Lambert's performance has nothing to do with his sexuality at all, it's all about the raunchiness and tackiness. So what ...big deal he kissed a guy... I think it was the oral simulation and the yanking on whatever was between the girls legs that I found to be tasteless. But when you combine it with everything including the kiss and the bondage it was just a mess. To take a paintbrush on it all and say oh the media and or ABC is just discriminating against him is because he's gay is ridiculous and quite frankly pulling the gay card. Adam being new to the business should focus on his talent and leave the shock and awe for his concerts that people pay to see and not forced to see. Hopefully he has learned from this and gets back to why people chose him as a fan favorite from American Idol and not feel the need to go there when he doesn't have to.

ABC invites Adam Lambert back

Despite the scandal of Adam Lambert’s TV kiss, he will perform on
After Adam Lambert's man-on-man television kiss, ABC wanted nothing to do with the "American Idol" star. Until now. ABC cancelled his performance with "Jimmy Kimmel Live." And "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve." And "Good Morning America. But he is back. The network has invited Lambert, 27, to make an appearance on "The View," where he will also perform a song, according to People magazine. "ABC has taken a step towards fairness by inviting Adam Lambert to perform on The View," Jarrett Barrios, President of the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD), told Usmagazine.com in a statement. "GLAAD has been advocating against the double standards that have been applied to Lambert as an openly gay performer."
Lambert refused to apologize for his but publicly admitted to going too far.

Oh no she di-in’t. Well, she did. But Adam Lambert had something to say about it. The “American Idol” alum ripped one of his own fans yesterday, in the middle of a performance, after the girl was caught chatting away on her cellphone while the star was trying to sing, reports TMZ. Lambert was performing a song for iheartradio in New York when he caught the girl talking. He stopped mid-song and said, “Can you get off you’re phone?! You’re yelling into it … wait, sorry, we’re going to start over.”
Lambert further confronted the fan by saying, “Really?! Dominoes … we deliver!” and continued with, “You’re not watching TV honey … it’s a live show.”
according to VFTW, the girl was interviewed on Z100 today and she was talking to her Grandmother who WAS a big LAMEbert fan. Imagine that...NOISE at a concert. They should be ashamed for talking while the great one is singing. Maybe if the show wasnt so boring, she wouldnt have been on the phone...lol
tick, tick, tick........

Its no secret that I am not an Adam LAMEbert fan but its turning into a burning hatred. I simply detest this sickening, bloated, egotistical POS who thinks he has everyone figured out and is just sooo above everyone. Please crawl back into that freak hole you came from and disappear. Ok now this is what brought on that rant...I am not going to post the whole article because its not worth the read. Here is an excerpt from the article and I will give the link for anyone who wants to read the whole thing...don't do it on a full stomach though.
And in a swipe at his critics, Adam blasted: "There are so many parents who are too conservative in America. "There are certain drugs out there that are really fun and recreational and can mean a good time. "I'm not an advocate for drugs but it is all rock and roll and we are all adults." (you ASSHOLE!!!!!!!! not everyone who reads this or is a fan is an adult!!)
ok asshole, you arent an advocate for drugs yet you state there are "fun and recreational" drugs that can mean a good time. Well if thats not being an advocate for drug use, then you are much dumber than I thought. I simply cannot believe the irresponsibility in making such a statement...I am literally floored. What a pompous, fuckwad he is.

I don't see myself as an overly conservative mother and I wouldn't want my daughter to get into recreational drug use of any kind. I think it's incredibely irresponsible of Adam to give his stamp of approval on recreational drug use whether he sees it as advocating or not. He certainly isn't saying how harmful recreational drug use can be and how it can be an open door for hardcore drugs that do destroy lives. Unfortunately, kids/teenagers do look up to schmucks like him and will see how well his life SEEMS and would want that for themselves. Sure parents should be their kids number one role models in their kids lives but it's not the case for all kids and for him to nonchalantly dismiss that fact and rid him of his personal public responsibility is ridiculous and it's disappointing because he is talented. He like many other artists should stick to what they do know and that's singing or whatever their talent is. Someone needs to clue Adam in that his target audience were teenagers who were voting for him and not adults. And these so called "conservative parents" as he calls it can turn on him and not buy their kids his cds, downloads, and concert tickets. Idiot.

I think the other thing that really set me off was that this interview was for a UK newspaper. I detest when any American gives an interview out of the country and tries to make Americans look bad. Basically though, instead of making "conservative" parents look bad, he made himself look horrible. What a tool.
case in point....here are some comments from some UKers
Quote :
Fair warning my UK friends. Americans are going to polute your blogs with their bible thumping, bigoted, homophobic ways. You want to get a good taste of American homophobia then post an article about Adam Lambert and let the bashing begin. They will follow him overseas spewing their garbage.
Quote :
his cd is selling pretty well considering so much music is gotten for free anymore. And this happened in homophobic conservative backward assed America.
ummmmmmm how twisted is this?? Unfortunately, this is how Americans are perceived by some and Adam only added fuel to the fire. I truly believe that most people do not even know the definition of homophobe. Remember, Adam nearly WON AI, if anyone gave a damn about his sexuality, he would have been voted out long before the final instead of worshipped by a bunch of middle aged, hoveround riding dimwits. Thanks Adam for putting down the country that made your sorry POS career while you glamorize drug use. The UK can have him.
