| No matter whether she quit or was removed, I'm sure throwing the microphone pack into the hot tub last night and refusing to wear a microphone for the next 20 mins or so was the final nail in the coffin.
BB either removed her for damaging the mike pack, or told her they were deducting the cost of the mike pack from her stipend and she got pissed and quit.

| Ok...whoa.... so Chima is out? It sounds like the producers pulled her out of there. I read that Natalie and Lydia were talking and they kept starting to say something about Allison coming out, but the feeds kept cutting to fish. Natalie also said something about Chima not planning on leaving because she didn't pack her stuff.
WOW! Chima is a moron. She's supposed to be an adult and she's acted like a child on national television. She'll be lucky if she doesn't end up losing her job over this or something!

| I knew I would miss something when I went to bed. Good riddance to that ultimate piece of shit. Thank you BB for ridding us of that vile bitter bitch. Celebrate!!! So what happens to Double eviction? Will there still be an eviction and is Nat still on the block? What about jury? Best case scenerio is as HOH they tell Michelle to put someone else up on the block and they have a normal week. | |

| I was wondering the same thing, Lorraine. It would mess up their production schedule if they still had the double eviction. I guess that won't happen now.
What do you think they'll do about the jury house? I'm assuming Chima isn't going there, so there would only be 6 and there could be a possible tie. They can't bring back anyone who's been evicted in the first 4 weeks because none of them are in sequester. Maybe they'll let America vote or something s the 7th jury vote.

| My guess would be to just nom another person for the block and play the week as a normal eviction week. As far as the jury goes, thats another story. They can't bring back an evicted HG because they have been watching whats going on and havent been sequestered. Could they bring Jessie back from the jury house to re-enter the house yet a 3rd time? I am thinking no but...expect the unexpected. Maybe they can have just 6 in the jury and an America's vote that only comes into play if its a tie. Who knows....I'm sure the producers are trying to figure this out as we speak. I wonder if they will ever let Marjealous recruit another BB player? | |

Well POV Is always on Tuesdays show and we know that Chima will not be there to play it. Usually the Sunday show ends with the noms so my guess would be Tuesday. Should be interesting to see what they do today because POV should be played today. I am hoping they call Michelle into DR and tell her she has to make another nom. hmmm Michelle got called to DR 10 minutes ago..lol

| I would guess that it would be lyida.
They could change up the show on Sunday - show Michelles original noms halfway through, show whatever the hell happend that made chima quit/get booted, and then end with the replacement nom? am I hoping for too much?

| Thursday's episode will probably be a single eviction unless they want to end the season early.
The missing juror's vote will most likely go to America which will also balance the jury against Jessie/Natalie/Lydia/Chima voting as a block as would have happened.

| I agree, I don't think they'll address it until Tuesday. The events shown on tomorrow's show will all be before she left so it wouldn't be a sensible time to introduce it, plus I expect they need some time to figure out how they want to present it.
As this is a new thing I am sure they will have a lot of discussion amongst production about how they are going to edit all this. Chima was really being a serious pain in the ass swearing about production and flipping off cameras, not to mention the terrorist/911 comments.
There's a lot of parts to the story they won't air so I'm sure production has their work cut out for them.

| It makes one wonder if there was a gap in the psychological screening. For someone to emerge from what Chima has survived (as it was described) such a short time ago and to then be isolated, imprisoned (even if it was by ineffective choice) and left with little control would most likely trigger someone who has perhaps not completely healed from the trauma. Does one ever recover from such a trauma?
I do think that her behavior was worthy of getting kicked out, however. It is such a privilege to be in that game. She was less than gracious and obviously aggressively triggered.
I wish CBS would not create a story around it (though they may be afraid not to--Chima strikes me as the type that would enjoy litigation rather than admitting error). The public does not need to be "protected" from the truth and Chima made her own bed. Ultimately, it will not help her either (if she is coddled, appeased and her behavior is edited into oblivion).
I also think that CBS is guilty for not drawing the line for those three ladies (either play by the rules of the game and our needs for filming or get the hell out). Perhaps the producers now, more than ever, will have to themselves expect the unexpected.
Also: for those of us who are passionate, watch and get triggered, let's remember that it is only a game. We may watch the HGs for a couple of months, but we don't know them. Let's be mindful to judge their actions rather than their person (even though it is VERY difficult when some are so difficult to like). They are just people--filled with flaws in a bubble. A bubble of their own choosing...yes, but a bubble.

I'm not sure there is a gap so much as BB is always trying to push the drama envelope and actually looks for volatile personalities to cast. When was that incident with the rape/serial murderer? I thought that was over 10 years ago? But they definitely made some questionable casting decisions this season. On the feeds Lydia said she had made a suicide attempt just a month before the season started. At one time on the show she was upset with Jessie and said she wanted to "cut herself" again. Then was back in Jessie's bed under a blanket tent again later that same night. Whatever casting guidelines they had this season need to be scrapped and rewritten.

| Good afternoon all. Lorraine I passed out last night and of course I wake up to the news. As happy as I am that bitch is gone, if she quit she is the ultimate loser. I mean damn that is pathetic. And that trick is probably going to try to play the victim when all is said and done.
I would think that they are still going to have a double eviction. The bitch would just be the first one out and they will play the 2nd eviction as planned. As far as they jury vote, they will probably let America choose.

| That EW article has been updated with a statement from BB:
"An official statement from CBS seems to confirm that Chima failed to comply with BB mandates: “Chima has been evicted by the producers from the Big Brother house for violating the rules. She will not be part of the show’s jury. Her eviction will be addressed on an upcoming broadcast of the show.”
So she is definitely not going to be on the jury.

| I came over here to post the CBS statement but I see Pat beat me to it! Good job staying on top of that!! I do have Steven Daigles blog regarding Chimas departure and his reaction to this There's so much going on today!! In addition to everything happening on the feeds, We're hearing from BB Alumni who'd like to weigh in on the whole Chima situation, which CBS is now officially spinning as "Chima has been evicted by the producers from the BB house for violating the rules." Full CBS Statement... We know from the HGs statements on the feeds late last night that such is not actually the case, but that's their story, and they're stickin' to it... Dishers, please welcome BB10's Steven Daigle! by Steven DaigleSo I haven't blogged really since everyone first went in the house this year, but the Chima exit is totally worthy of some time. I first wanna say that I haven't seen the feeds from her leaving and have only heard rumors about a mic going in the hot tub and something about some m&ms in a drink, whatever that is about. I think what she did is very disappointing and frustrating, whether you liked her or not. There are so many people out there who would kill for the opportunity that she got and she basically, for a lack of better words, took a Sh*t on all those people. Everyone's first reaction is to call her names and bash her because she took the easy way out and walked. Truth be told, we really need to understand that she just didn't have the mental strength to deal with the house or the incredible amount of pressure she was under. If you have never been in the house you can never fully understand the emotional rollarcoaster ride it puts you on, constant adrenaline, fear, paranoia, excitement, boredom and anticipation all streaming through your veins 24 hours a day. There are only a small portion of the population that can actually deal with those pressures, and she aint one of them. The sad part is, whether you liked her or not, she made GREAT TV, and we watched to see what craziness or drama she would start day after day. Unlike Jessie, who a few claimed made good TV (he did not make good TV, he caused drama but he was just annoying and foolish and I usually turned the channel when he came on) Chima was truly unpredictable and kept you coming back for more, I personally didn't like her, but I couldn't wait to see what she was gonna do next. What I am thinking most about now is what kind of reaction she is getting from the producers. Being behind the scenes, you quickly learn that of all the bad things you could do in the Big Brother house (excluding endangering yours or someone else's safety) is walk out. From day one it is drilled into your head that you walk out that door and you are burning a bridge that can never be repaired and basically CBS and Ourhouse will wash their hands of you. One thing Big Brother hates is a QUITTER, and they are the first to tell ya! I have a feeling that what Chima thought was important enough at the time to walk out of the Big Brother house isn't even going to compare to the backlash that is going to occur now. Not only will she have to face all of the Contractual issues with CBS (especially paying for a mic she intentionally destroyed which costs about $5000), but the fact that Production will probably turn their back on her, and now America is going unleash it's fury and that fury will probably be devastating to her. She is in store for a world of hurtin' and hopefully she will stay off of the Internet for about the next 6 months, otherwise she will be needing some serious therapy. What Big Brother puts you through (which she couldn't hack) ain't even remotely close to what the Big Brother Fans will do to her. I wish her luck after she gets released, SHE IS GONNA NEED IT... Oh and Chima if you read this.. "Suck It Bitches" is my Big Brother saying, OK Miss Thang... | |

| So Michele HOH week is over and they are now playing a HOH comp. If Team Jeff loses, this is going to change the game around again.
I like Steven blog. If that trick can tolerate being in that house while things were good she can handle it the first time things go bad. If she handle being brutally raped and she is a trooper for getting over that, I give her all the props for that, she handle a mind game. If she quit she is an ass and a loser and if BB kicked her out, good for them for finally stepping up. I mean geesh it's a game. I don't care if it's for $500K. Pray you win, but be happy that you even made it in the game and the experiece and exposure.
And I just read that the trick made BB let her play in last week HOH comp, but Michele isn't allowed to play today. Wow BB need to get their shit together with the HG and the rules for further seasons.

| Okay..I have a few things to say..first Erica and Lorraine whats up.. can we get an hour on blog talk this weekend to discuss all the happenings..this is big stuff...lol. I think CBS made a huge mistake in allowing Chima's threats to change the format of the show on Thurs. By doing this CBS it gave Chima power and encouraged her bad behavior much like a 5 yr old having a temper tantrum in the store because he wants a toy and you buy it to shut him up. You can best believe the next time he wants something and doesnt get it he will throw that same tantrum. I dont know if anyone heard the Express Lunch Marathon on Thurs, but Marcellus (who I always loved til he turned me off with his statements ) called in and made all kinds of excuses for Chima. It was quite obvious that Marcellus had only been watching the edited show and not the feeds. I doubt he will be calling back in this week...Marcellus, open mouth insert foot..lol Anyway Chima, as we say in my house...You ain't got to go home, but you gots to get the hell outta here. | |
