Mother of Missing Tot Caylee Anthony released from jail again

The mother of missing Florida toddler Caylee Anthony is out of jail — again.

Casey Anthony was released Friday just after 10 a.m. EDT after posting her $500,000 bond.

She said nothing as her lawyer Jose Baez led her through a swarm of reporters and ushered her into a waiting SUV outside the Orange County Jail. She wore an ankle monitor and a shirt with her daughter's photo on it.

"Casey, where is Caylee?" some of them shouted.

Anthony, 22, of Orlando, posted the high bond for the second time, Orange County officials confirmed Thursday. She is charged with child abuse and making false statements to investigators in Caylee's disappearance, as well as with check fraud in an unrelated investigation.

Caylee, who was 2 when she vanished, was reported missing in mid-July from Orlando. The girl hadn't been seen for a month before Anthony told authorities.

Orange County police have said Anthony's trunk had contained a decomposing body and that it was likely her daughter's. No other charges have been filed against Anthony, however.

Prosecutors asked for a high bond, hoping Anthony wouldn't be able to get out of jail.

Anthony was re-arrested last weekend on check fraud charges, which are unrelated to the investigation into her small daughter's whereabouts and stem from allegations that she used a friend's checks to pay for groceries and other items.

She was scheduled to appear in court Thursday, but the arraignment was canceled, according to Allen Moore, a spokesman with the Orange County Corrections Department. Orange County jail officials later told FOX that Anthony's bond was posted evenly by two central Florida bail bonds agencies.

Her parents, Cindy and George, scheduled a video visitation with Casey Thursday, but the meeting was canceled due to the conflict with the court appearance and was postponed to Friday morning, according to MyFOXOrlando.com.
