Exit Interview with Frankie Grande Empty
PostSubject: Exit Interview with Frankie Grande   Exit Interview with Frankie Grande EmptyWed Sep 17, 2014 1:42 am

In our interview we had asked Frankie the following question Do you feel it would be unfair to your fellow jury members if there is an America's Favorite Player and you were to win as they all would be at a severe disadvantage?    Either he chose not to answer it himself OR CBS could have omitted the question.  We also asked another question about who he'd like to see following him next to jury and that also wasn't answered.  Since it's been much talked about by the fans, thought it would have been nice to hear his take on it.  Again, I'm not saying he refused to answer the question as CBS does vet the questions being asked and could have omitted it for whatever reason.

You played a good game.  At what point did you know for sure that you were in fact the one being evicted over Victoria?

Frankie:  As soon as my face appeared on the memory wall.

Who do you blame more for your eviction, Caleb who put you up on the block or Derrick and Cody who voted you out?

Frankie:  I blame Derrick and Cody more because I know they are the people they convinced Caleb to put me up on the block.  However, the betrayal hurt more coming from Caleb.

Once you were at Final 5 what would have been your ideal pecking order of evictions and who did you really want to be sitting next to at the Final 2?

Frankie:  I would evict Victoria, Cody and then Caleb.  I would want to sit next to Derrick in the final 2 to honor Team America.

The week of the last double eviction when Caleb was HOH and Nicole was evicted.  Caleb had told you that he thought about putting you up on the block as a renomination but didn't obviously do it.  Why didn't you question Caleb if this was his decision or was he being influenced by Derrick and or Cody?

Frankie:  Because he told me he was being influenced by Derrick and Cody.  There was nothing to question.  I knew exactly what was going on but there was very little I could do at that point except to win and it was working out pretty well for a while.

How on board were you with the Final 4 of you, Derrick, Cody, and Caleb? Did you ever consider getting one of them out during your last HOH?

Frankie:  I considered it briefly but ultimately I decided it was out of my character to break my word and therefore I would not do it.  I truly intended it to be a “Battle of the Beasts” until the end.  As a superfan, wouldn’t that have been great?

You had told Caleb that Derrick was in the best position in the game.  Didn't you see someone as being the person who is in the best position in the game as the biggest threat to your game and ultimately the one to beat?

Frankie:  Yes, yes I did.  Unfortunately, by the time I realized it, Derrick had already out-maneuvered me and my only option moving forward was to continue to beast competitions.

Derrick having never been on the block.  This was a point you made to Caleb during a conversation you had earlier this week with him.  When you were HOH did you consider putting Derrick up?

Frankie:  I did consider it and now I ultimately really do regret it.  Unfortunately my loyalty to Team America took precedent over my loyalty to myself in the game and had a huge hand in sending me home.

In retrospect, do you regret opening up to the houseguests about Ariana Grande being your sister and also about donating your winnings to charity?

Frankie:  I don’t regret it at all.  I believe that timing is everything and the time I chose to reveal my true identity and who my family really is, was not only perfect but necessary.  I had hit rock bottom and I knew that for me to continue on in this game, I had to do something drastic.  I ultimately went from going home, to one of the last men standing.  In regards to my charity, I played this game to raise money for my work with “buildON” so though it may have put a large target on my back, I do not regret my decision to talk about it.
